I drill a lot of pocket holes and would love to have a portable domino like machine for doing this.

Or if your more workshop based you could buy a cms plate that the machine fits in  [wink]

Porter Cable made a somewhat portable pocket hole machine several years ago. The limiting problem to a portable pocket hole cutter is that the machine has to be clamped to the work piece to cut accurate holes.

This is my portable pocket hole machine.

Nice outfit JD2720!  Was that base a piece of furniture adapted to your purpose or was it custom built?

I imported the kreg foremen last year, I love it. So much faster, I run it off a 110v box

Thank you.
The base was custom built for the Kreg foreman.
It was the first project I did with a Kreg Beaded Faceframe system.

Very nice. What are you doing for dust collection?

John

Thank you.
The chips just fall inside the metal Kreg cabinet. I just vacuum it out when it needs it. It will hold a lot of chips.

I bought one of those kreg foreman machines many years ago, love it , I use it in the shop mostly but it's easily portable enough to take to a job, it's very light. And even better kreg has come out with a new model that's about half the price....

Im thinking a domino/vecturo style body with a fence/clamp area set at an angle that grips or quick clamps on to the edge of the wood with dust extraction of course!

Still sounds like a 2 handed job, a kreg foreman would be easier & quicker, in my humble opinion

You guys just gave me a idea for a couple of more modules to set in the CMS.  Good place to mount the Kreg Jig.

BTW I have the old aluminium one.
