Polishing Cast Iron

I have a Powermatic 66 cabinet saw that I want to polish the table to a mirror finish - like it was when I bought it 9 years ago.  There is virtually nothing wrong with the table as far as flatness or rust, etc, goes I just want to do it - because.  I was hoping to use my RO 150 and ??? to do the job.  Any recommendations as to the sponges and polish to use if that is appropriate?  I don't think I want to get into sanding (grinding) the top for fear of screwing up the flatness.  I am not sure if it can be done.  I suspect that the table was originally ground to the mirror finish.

I'm not sure about the use of this with an RO-150 but I used Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish, (~$5 at most auto parts stores) a box of old terry towels and an XL can of elbow grease on an old Unisaw I re-habed after scrubbing it down with WD-40 and a green scrub pad under a 1/4 sheet ROS.  Some have used their Billet Polish with good results but my inside source at Mother's says it's not worth the extra $10 for cast iron.  BTW...none of their metal polishes have silicone.

My dad said if I used the saw more it would shine up all by itself.  He's right as the area I use the most next to the rip fence stays clean.  Crosscutting happens on the MFT.

I think I'll try the Mother's stuff.  Scotchbite pads (white) is probably what did me in in the first place.  A number of years ago when I moved my saw was in storage for about a month.  The table got some rust on it and the whiz kid here buffed it witha ROS with a scotchbrite pad.  Took all the rust off but killed the mirror finish.  My table has a shine to it but not that classic Powermatic finish.
