This is totally not for me. A neighbor just got one he loves it. I am not impressed at all and  I hate that little 1/2" high fence that angles back.

I guess I am going totally against the grain on this one, I do not like it and I never will. If you get good results with it great! I am a shop worker and the set up I have is fine, of course it could not be brought out to a job site. I am thinking the people that like this setup are the workers that go into the field, there are better options for a permanent set up in a shop.

Different strokes for different folks, the only way I would get the unit is if it was a gift. I am using the money for an OF 2200(the bigger SawHelper setup is near the same price or more), Per has me sold on that OF 2200.

okay, so I'm following up on some old threads tonight.  I was wondering where exactly and why guys are attaching measuring tapes to Sawhelpers or custom miter saw stations.  I finished one side of my custom ones and am trying to cover all my bases before I work on how I'm going to secure to miter table.  This will probably influence my decision of how and where.  Do you measure from blade to first point where you can lay tape?, i.e. where Kreg Measuring System starts in below pic?  Do you take into account moving factory fence or adding subfences or am I just over thinking this and making it too complicated?
I put some 3/4 " holes to lighten and more for clamping and to take advantage of all workspace.  Probably going to use it for coping and sanding.  I will probably put another row, soon.  This was my first Domino project and experience with hardwood edgebanding, so although not a Sawhelper, I learned a lot.

Thanks in advance, Eric
