Yeah all a ya.

I picked this up from Gary Katz's website.

He uses the Kreg bench clamp on a assembly table with

his Domino.

I know, MFT!

But sometimes you need to get creative.

Per, I've got one, it works great with my MFT. What I like about it is how fast it is compared to the clamping elements.
I really like a lot of Gary has to offer on his site and on JLC.

Per, I got the large and the small bench klamp. Since I got two benches I need two klamps with the base. Yes Domino on order, 4 chairs, door frame and new router table waiting to be "dominoized"...

I have a set of WorkMate clamps that I use all the time where i want to clamp to the MFT, they are actually quicker to use than those little FSZ 120's.

I agree with Per .... we have two of these mounted in the top surface of each of our assembly benches.  The make great temporary clamps.

i mounted two kreg clamps to my mft 1080.  it works great for a hold down and now i will get to use it with the domino that i just picked up today!  i will post some photos this week.

Alternatives to the Kreg and Harbor Freight clamps include the cam-action bench hold-downs from Jorgenson and others.

The Jorgys,

I have a coupla pairs.

Remember everybody's different.

Not saying they won't work for you.

But I find them slow, a pain to adjust, (That's what people say about me too),

I gotta have fast, not that I don't have time to fiddle or adapt or I that

I am saying one clamp is faster then the other, it's just if I have to

fiddle, I get aggravated.  Then I spend more time being aggravated,

rather then doing my job.

The kreg keeps me mellow.

No, not jello!!  I was waiting for the picture builderbob was going to post of the Kreg clamp when he got a chance.

I'm not sure which Kreg base he's using...  Kreg has two; the small base & a large about 8" x 8" plate of 1/4" steel.  The larger one which can also be mortised in to a top is large & heavy enough to be used simply by setting it on the top.  Thus the larger base has the advantage of being able to be moved around the top for what ever your working on...  Then again so does the drill press style or the Jorgie's or the Festool clamps using the 20 mm holes in the top of the MFT.

I have the Kreg clamp with the large base, not mortised in. I like to be able to move the clamp anywhere on the table that I need it, however you do have to use 1/4" shims under the stock to keep it level, I use srcaps of MDF.
