Powermatic or Laguna 8" jointer?

I am considering a new jointer and want parallelogram adjustment and helical cutter head.  Looking at Powermatic and Laguna.  I would appreciate advice from anyone who has used either machine.  The only Utube info I have seen is Woodwhisperer on Powermatic adjustment and rip ray on initial setup of Laguna.  I worry about Laguna given they are not a manufacturer (who knows where machine was made & will they stock parts once the model is changed). I have a Powermatic machine now with dovetail ways- very hard to keep coplainer and motor adjustment crude. So neither is the automatic choice- wish Festool made one... Anyway, will appreciate any help or advice. Thanks, Jim Baker

I have the powermatic 8" paralellogram with straight knives.  It is a great machine.  I get amooth cuts with the straight knives, you can also set up the fence to do a skew cut.
