As I´m making some research on the saw I´ve found some non-festool compatible cheaper blades which can be interesting for someone.

Not sure if it is ok to put links..

a brand called jjw-germany.com

bosch expert blades (the blue ones made by freud) Expert for wood for ripping and croos cutting and also aluminium blade

Also freud, of course has

Thanks for posting  [smile]
I was absolutely not aware that both Bosh and Freud had these  [blink]
If the Bosch blade is of the same quality as the one I had on late Bosch GCM 8 SDE, it should be very good. Looks if it is from the same series, Expert for Wood.
I’ll have to check if it’s available locally.

I have some of those blue for my mafell mt55 plunge saw, wood cross cut, wood rip, laminate and aluminium. I´ve only try the wood ones and I find them good but I do not give them intensive use

Where are you from?

I’ve also heard professionals speaking well of these blue Bosch blades, also about their longevity (Think they are made by Freud)

I’m located in Norway, where are you located?

Thanks to your link, I can now see that they should be available, probably on backorder.
I’ll check with my pro dealer who’s also a official Bosch pro dealer, they can usually deliver to a fairly good price. (As they did when I bought the Bosch sliding mitre saw and more)
