I'm adding the fluting blades and beading blades to my combination plane kit, and am wondering what setup anyone uses to sharpen these (which is not that dissimilar I suppose for moulding plane blades).
I see there are various slip stone setups available, either as separate stones with fixed radii, or with variable curvature due to their cone shape, or as all in one stones with multiple profiles.
I have a Tormek, but I think the radius of the fluting blades might be too tight to work them effectively on the stone, and the most I could hope for is to do a final hone on the beading blades off the profiled leather wheels.
