Preset pin not engaging on KAPEX KS 120 REB

Bought my Kapex last week.  When I slide my saw so that the it stops at a preset, say 0 degrees, it’s randomly off by 0.5-1 degree randomly.  It’s inconsistent where it stops.  It’s always within a degree of zero but, rarely right at zero.

I flipped it over to see how the pin engages the knotch.  It doesn’t appear to be seating securely.  I think that explains the random nature of the preset.

Is there an adjustment I can make, or is better to call for service?

Hi, I also just bought a Kapex KS 120 a week ago and mine is exactly the same. The indents seem to be 0.5 to 1.0 degree off the scale. I have called customer services and I'm awaiting a response from an engineer.
My laser is also wrong and doesn't line up with the saw cut.
How did you get this fixed?

There are instructions in the manual on how to adjust the laser. It's also in the supplemental manual:
