Price Increases Coming

Heard from my local dealer today that there is a price increase coming in July 2025 - not sure how much or the exact date.

Unless I have a real burning need, I generally don't buy anything Festool that isn't in a current promotion. And I've already got my next 3 purchases lined up for when that happens! ;-)

From my understanding the increase will apply to FestoolUSA and Festool Canada.

And do price increase prevent people from buying Festool? Of course not. However, that does not dismiss the fact that this mid-year price increase impacts everyone’s bottom line and is external of the typical increases that come at the beginning of each new year.

I think it’s important to note the coming increase so that those who have been thinking about new purchases this summer can make that part of their calculus. Because if you’re thinking about the KS120, DF700, CSC SYS 50 or Conturo - that extra $100+ could be used for other stuff - like a sustainer full of abrasives!

It's a given here in Australia from what I've noticed and seen over the last 4 years, most things go up regardless of tariffs every year.

Isn't this the Festool version of a sale, when they announce a price increase coming in the near future, they consider all current stock to then be "On Sale" at the current list price.

Just to be clear: unlike SawStop, Festool has not officially announced anything regarding tariff price increases.

Like the typical beginning of the year price increases - one day it's the price it's been and the next: bam - the price jumps. And from my understanding, a mid-year price increase is atypical.

In previous years it's been in the Spring, and typically within the 2-4% range. This seems almost certainly tariff-induced, both in terms of timing and the extraordinarily high-percentage jump.

Festool is starting to be competitive with Mafell, but not in the most ideal way.
