I'm not quite sure which board is the most appropriate for my post...

In any case, I bought a T15 from www.cpofestool.com. The package just arrived on Friday but it's obvious that both the drill and systainer have been mildly used. The drill has a few marks, as does one battery, and the case has some interior and exterior scratches.

Customer service declined to expedite a replacement but they've agreed to discount the tool. They have not yet said how much.

Has anyone had a similar issue with www.cpofestool.com?

Also, if some of you were in a similar boat what do you think would be a satisfactory resolution?

Thanks for your thoughts,

Shawn

if you change your profile to show which country you are in, it will help a lot.
also, what is cpo?

regards, justin.

thanks for the photo shawn.
i see you live in the u.s.
i recommend you call festool directly and explain to them what has happened.
festool service in the u.s. is of the highest service you will find anywhere.
they will want to help you.
a satisfactory result for me would be a new drill.
i would not accept something that has had obvious use.

you should be looking at a brand new drill heading your way, nothing less.

regards, justin.

thanks for the replies.

www.cpofestool.com did say they'd ship out a replacement but via snail mail (as per my original order). at this juncture i need the drill a.s.a.p so i'm in a bind if i wait for a replacement.

thanks again. will post the outcome for anyone curious.

shawn
