Chris, there is a mini-systainer that you can put the chocolate in.  I will get one to you at work!!!  Put some choc in there, a nice little green ribbon, all will be good.  Perhaps some IOU's as well on projects that you will complete for her.

I love it.   ;) ;) ;)

While Nick's suggestion is the truth, anyone you need to say that to probably won't get it.

I'm betting on Timmy's idea.  The mini inserts could make it look more like boxed candy.

Ned

And maybe you can get it back when she has finished the chocolate.

My wife asked me "what's that green hose, is that what "I bought" you for christmas?" I said yes. we have a deal. I make her stuff, and she does'nt sweat me for what I buy to make it. it works well, as long as I dont go way off the deep end.

......Oh well, I guess I'll get to planning my next project... the dog house that I am going to call home.
Chris

Chris, use the doghouse to hide the Systainers, when your wife finds out you'll have a place to stay.

My wife is not allowed in the shop.

"You may never know when I am making something for you so just stay out of there"  :D

I have the same rules. Every once in a while I see her snooping in there, pisses me off to no end. So I have been loading the kitchen with Festools. I am not moving these tools until she agrees to stay  out :D

that is awesome. " Can you pass the salt, just slide it down the guide rail."

You should see the dining room. No furniture and literally exotic hardwood from floor to ceiling!

In another thread Per suggested that we all include our location in some manor. I was in 100% agreement - until today.  Now for the work I do I have about everything in the Festool arsenal that I can use. And I thought I was off the slippery slope and on the gentle end. But today I stopped by Jerry Work's studio ( see, I learned he was only about 8 miles down the road through FOG ) I saw the MFK 700 EQ and how he sets it up on the MFT as a horizontal router.  This is not just a trim router.  I am now back on the damned slope and will have one of those things in the next few months.

I would throw you a rope but no one is holding the other end! We will all be falling together :) :)

Man I hear ya. But I have a solution for you.
You know how when you were a kid, you'd say to your pop "dad, my tummy hurts" and then he'd stomp on your foot, you'd howl bloody murder and say why'd ya do that, and he'd say "your tummy don't hurt so bad now, does it?"
Well, its like that.
You need to find something else addictive which is far more expensive. Yachting, Drag racing, fine art collecting, and really pursue that for 6 months or a year. Then, when you "lose interest" in that, sell it all off, and just buy tools, my gosh. She'll count her lucky stars that's all you're spending anymore.
I was addicted to diesel mods, and man thats like crack but costs more. She's so happy I sold that truck I can buy darn near anything now and its all just groovy.
"You only spent $500 on that? Thank the Lord!!!"
Wishing you luck . . .

Great stuff :D :D
I dont think that would work with my wife...or would it?? Humm  :-\
For now I think I will try the making things for her route  ;)

Scott W, I could not agree with you more and think the Dude is thinking and feeling the same way.  ;) Fred

Thanks Nick, I like to have a little fun. I don't know how you do it though, The Misses wasn't happy when I had two small tool boxes in our master bedroom closet, and it was on MY SIDE.

Now really, was she visiting her mother for the weekend when you took this picture?

Heck no! I just received 6 more boxes too. Until my workshop is ready for the new stuff  everything is sitting right there. She deals with it. I have been posting pics of everything I open for the first time in my gallery. I have plenty more to go.

Hey Chris,

My wife enjoys building with me and when my new ts 55 eq came in last week she thought it looked so neat I barely beat her to it first. Makes it easy for me most of the time, now I'm saving for a MFT/3, she told me I should get one because the look cool...  ;D ;D

If she thinks an MDF table with holes is cool you should be all set for the Kapex and Trim Router.  You might want to get her in to the Dr's she sounds delirious, not to mention a keeper. ;)
