Problems with Festool...

I've got to keep her after 11 years I'm beyond the returm policy. About 5 years ago we replaced all the bead boards on our 100 year old porch. The porch is an "L" shape about 32'x50'. She cut all the boards on my"our" CMS and handed them up to me for nailing.  She only miscut one board too short, about 1/3 of a percent mistakes.  >:( She's trying to make me look bad, what would MY clients think? :-[

I know it's not Festool, but I had to hide my new Lie-Nielsen #4  in an old drawer slide box.  Luckily she's not savvy enough to identify the shavings on the floor of the garage...

That's because the Lie-Nielsen doesn't make noise or dust!  I've found my hand tools go largely unnoticed too.

Chris, you really think she'd let you have a pillow?

You can mail those nasty systainers to me. I'll take them off your hands!  ;)

To all, you guys are cracking me up!  This has been one of the most entertaining FOG threads I have read.

Nickao,  love that kitchen table!

Robtonya, please slide me the pfeffer, bitte!  You definitely have a knack for humor.  Keep the comments coming.

Seriously, I am blessed with a patient wife who asks only that I use the tools.  No problems with buying them if I use them.  Of course, everyone in the house benefits if they are used.  Next major projects are some bookshelves, and an entertainment center.  Both will have to be original designs to fit the rooms in which they are to be located.  And the floor of one of those rooms needs another sanding and final coat of varnish, and some new trim.  Lots of Festool work ahead!!
