Frank,  the are several companies named Narex.  Narex powertools re a part of TTS.  Narex chisels are not.  That Narex is a different company and not part of TTS.  I didn't explain well.  Sorry.

I didn't know the Narex chisel company was a seperate company. But the powertool Narex sure is part of TTS. You can find Narex right next to Festool and Protool in the European Ekat.

If Christian says they're seperate companies I don't doubt him, but it's odd that both Narex companies also have the exact same logo. You'd think they at least stem from the same root.

I found the email from Christian where he responded to my question about Narex following his investigation:

"Hello Peter,

There are 4 different companies that sell products under the Narex name. Only Narex Power Tools is part of TTS.

C."

Hope that helps.

Peter

Could be.  That email was last year.  All I know is that the powertool end is part of TTS.

When I was at the local Festool spring sale event a couple of weeks ago a Festool rep let it slip that Protool will be integrated into the Festool brand in the autumn and that Protool will cease to exist as a brand.

Suprisingly they had a lot of Protools on sale ;-)

I personally want a protool guide rail grinder some time in the future.

Got it last week with the VCP260-E-L AC set with a lot of accessory... I have to put some pics of all that new stuff on the FOG, maybe this week...

Nice!  I see you got the complete kit for the protool grinder (including the shroud for face grinding)

I like!!!  Thats what I want!!

I know festool won't adopt the protool vacs but I wish they would I much prefer the protool vac I see in yor picture!  No stupid hose carriage! Which I never use but don't have the option to remove.

I see you have metal upstand to hold your hose and a rear section to carry your tubes for vacuuming.

Be careful... There are two versions of 1400W grinder.
The simple version 11000 rpm, and the electronic version with speed control between 3000 rpm and 11000 rpm.

The DSC-AGP 125 kit i bought comes with simple grinder because cutting materials only need high speed.
The DSG-AGP 125 kit comes with electonic grinder because surfacing requires a lower speed.

I suggest you to buy DSG-AGP 125 kit and  DCC-125 AGP hood accessory to have a versatile electronic grinder.
almost no difference in the final price...

Have fun

Them Protool vacs looks sweet. I think I would like not having hose garage and having the hose out and handy.
Come on Festool, just roll them out in green and blue!

@Starfl0
I was going to say, pity they're not green,
But my face is green enough to make up for that : envy
Congrats

Your clients will know you really mean business when you pull out that gear....

you seem to be on track for a VCP360, according to some people on this forum, this is the only one who will be retained by Festool.
