Protecting wood in bathroom 101

I've been digging Danish Oil as a finish recently -- simple and straightforward for bringing out the natural beauty of the wood.  I'm about to build one or more cabinets for my bathroom, and I'm wondering if Danish Oil would be enough to protect the wood in that kind of environment.  It's not terribly well ventilated, but it's also fairly small, and so the moisture dissipates pretty quickly.  Thanks.

I think you might do well to give a look at Osmo Polyx oil.  It seems to do well in moist locations, and water seems to just bounce off it.

I agree that Osmo should be used, I used it in this bathroom installation, it has been in now for 6 years and has not required a re-coat as the original two coats are working fine.

Looks beautiful Mitchwood.  I actually just got back from the one place in Manhattan that stocks Osmo, where I picked up a .75 can to try it out.  I'll post a picture with the finished product.
