I ordered a Protool light that is compatible with Festool batteries a couple of weeks back.

A link is here:  http://PROFESSIONALTOOL.CO.UK/protool-flashlight

It has a swiveling head, a removable clip for hanging on a ladder or belt, and a dual beam multi-LED light.  Plus it provides a battery charge status.

It's about 65.00 to 70.00 delivered from the UK if I recall.  Warren from Professional Tool Co was great to deal with and it arrived in less than a week.  I recommend it and the company highly.  I paid with Paypal.

Here is my Protool FLC UNI. I received it last weekend.
It works great with all my 12V batteries (NiCd, NiMH and Li-Ion).
It has a swivel head and a belt clip on both sides.
At the end is a hook that can be used to hang the light at a ladder for instance.

Should not be to difficult for Festool to replace the orange button with a green one and place a Festool logo?

hi neeleman.

the ladder clip looks pretty solid.

what do you think of the plastic clips on both sides?

justin.

hello justinmcf

I have not tried the light or belt clips yet.
It's plastic and that's not fantastic. Normally I hate plastic things on such vital parts.
When the light get hooked on something it might break.
But at least there is one on every side.
But I prefer the metal ones as on the new Festool BPC batteries.

By the way the hook is also from plastic while the head light surrounding is made from metal or aluminium.

The plastic clips work fine for hooking on a pocket or potentially a nail apron.  I have not tried it clipped over a belt where it could be a little 'tighter' to your body.  But I have used the clip just over my pocket for holding the light while on a ladder and it worked fine.

Beamshots!!!!

What's the runtime? Is the output flat?

How does it compare to a 9.6 V 30 W Halogen lamp overdrive to 10.8V  [tongue]?
