Proxxon IB/E

My 20+ year old Dremel is acting weird. I don't use it very much but when I need to use it, I need it. I have in the Festool tradition, been looking @ the Proxxon IB/E rotary tool. Does anyone have any experience with the Proxxon IB/E?

Nope, but I have been very satisfied with the performance and durability of my Proxon triangular pad sander (like a miniature Fein Multi-master in sanding mode).

You might want to talk to Dremel Service.  They didn't have bearings for my 20+ Moto Tool, and so offered me a good deal on a current model.

I did call Dremel, and they offered a model 300 for around $36.00, but the Dremel's are now made in Mexico. I am not too crazy about the quality of electronics coming out of Mexico. If it were Japan or Germany, I am ok with that. The Proxxon IB/E is made in Luxembourg.
