PSC 400 LED light intermittent.

Sometimes the light comes on, sometimes it stays on after the tool is stopped and wiont go off until the battery is removed. Am I missing something? Is this a know issue, can it be fixed? Is there a way to turn off the light?This is the second jigsaw I have used with the same LED issue.

Your issue seems odd.  Maybe going thru the steps for setting the led thru their various stages will help?  You can see that in this linked video.  You may have already tried this,but if not:
