Query about Festool CMS-VB (in ekat as 495530_USA)

Hello,

I was looking through the ekat for a few parts and saw this gem.  I have never seen it in person, but it accomplishes something that I was going to do on my own.  Is it something we can really get here?  If it is "parts only", it looks like it would be about 530 bucks without the leg or the insert plate.  Has anyone in the US tried this out?  Festool USA, is this something that can be accommodated?

I think it's this one.
It can be used as a table widener for the CMS-GE or CS-50 which is NAINA.

You beat me to it.  Essentially it is the same as the CMS-VL, but no power and a blank insert to create a flat space.  I know there have been mentions of it on the FOG in the past (I searched) but there were never any resolutions from what I could find.

The Frame is identical to the CMS VL, but that plate is not something we can get in the US.  Sorry for the false hope :-\

Thanks Brent, but I actually don't want the plate at all. I want the frame. In fact, i don't want the legs if I don't have too.

Essentially, I want the VL without legs, plate or power... Is that something I CAN get?  If I need to order all of the parts, so be it.

We do not have the frame only, with or without the legs. You would need to  purchase the parts  to make up the frame.

Be careful. The CMS-VL and CMS-VB are not the same size, despite what you might read on the Festool websites. I have pointed this out previously but the sites have never been changed.

The CMS-VL (or MFT/3-VL as it is known here in the UK) is designed to be attached to the MFT/3 whereas the CMS-VB (or CMS-VB/CS 50 as it is known here in the UK) is designed to be attached to the CMS-GE or the CS 50.

They are *NOT* the same size at all.
