Question: Accuracy of straight line cuts with Vecturo with the plunge base

Does the Vecturo have a soft start,  similar to the Carvex?

Let me add a comment to it. There are two different "softstarts". One is when electronics ramps power to the motor within 0.3 - 0.5 seconds to prevent a spike in power consumption which can trip circuit breakers. The second one is when the motor runs on a low RPMs until electronic senses that the blade is engaged. The latter is what Carvex has.

Vecturo MIGHT have the soft start of the motor to prevent a spike in current consumption, although with its power rating it would not make a difference. I cannot tell one way or the other.

To my knowledge of a new owner of Vecturo, it DOES NOT have an automatic RPM increase when blade is engaged as Carvex does.

Thanks, when I get a chance I'll go test a Vecturo out at the dealers and see if it will make a suitable replacement for my Multimaster which has now seen better days.
