Question for you guys (Tenryu vs Festool)

I am going to pick one up for my 55.  I just got my fancy
new splinter strips and I have the 12t universal.  I don't
want to use it now and the tenryu has the same kerf as
the standard blade that came with my saw.

What are tou ripping with that blade Brice?
What does it do to old doors?

Seems kind of silly of Festool to make their blade kerfs different thicknesses then the guide rail strip reference is off slightly for some blades.  If Tenryu blades have a consistent width kerf, I'll be switching to them.

Mostly ripping softwoods but I did rip some 5/4"oak, worked great. As for old doors, it rocks.
