question on OF1400/2200 guide rod sizes

Hi All,

Hoping someone can help me out. Will the OF1400 router guide rails fit the 2200 router? I am thinking to add a second fence for my 1400, and am hoping I could use this on a 2200 (which I have not purchased yet). Or do you have any other suggestions?

No they are two different sizes. You could put the of1400 rods in the 2200 but they would be sloppy loose. I know this because I ordered the 2200 rods thinking they would fit the 1400 but they are much bigger. Hopes this helps.
