View attachment 4I needed a home for my Christmas gifts so I went to the local blue box and picked up a sheet of cabinet grade ply and some full extension slides. I finished off the front edges with some reclaimed barn wood scraps. A couple hours of zen time and a  total cost of $124. I have 1 more to make then I will mount them into the work van this weekend.👍

Curtains on your garage doors? Try some opaque window film when you're ready to loose those curtains. Simple to do.  [smile]

I found a spray that can add an opaque layer to windows. Did my bathroom and garage windows to prevent prying eyes.

The sys-ports look nice. Any future plans for them or things you would change? On the side, any plans for the blue systainers? I picked up a few as well and so far only 1 is used as planned. Rest in waiting.

I’ll stick with the curtains that way I can open up and look outside whenever I want. It will definitely take longer to arrange which tools will make it into the t-locks than it did to make the ports. I will keep you updated as I make the transformation

Looks good. What length are the drawer slides to allow the Systainer lids to open whilst still on the drawers?

I'm not the OP but I built a sysport also. I made the trays 15" deep but could have made them 14" as I needed to add a block at the back of the tray to keep the systainers from sliding back in the tray. I used 14" slides with 1" overtravel so the entire tray extends out when fully opened. This gives enough clearance for the systainer lid to fully open without interference. These are the slides I used:https://www.cabinetparts.com/p/knap...side-mount-drawer-slides-KV840514?oc=referral

Yes I used the same slides. I was able to find them at my local Lowes here in town. Thanks

Thanks for the response. Grrrrr.... I am currently building a Sysport / diy MFT bench, and did not consider the lids opening and only made the cabinet 14" deep. I *think* I can still get away with 14" slides but the pulls on the front won't overlap the drawer slides nicely like OP's.
