James,

So, did you order anything to go with that new TS55?

I picked up a few more things from my shop at the old house earlier today.  Heard a few jets fly overhead while there and thought of you.  Saw several boxes on my lumber rack with guide rails inside and again thought of you...   [wink]

Hope you enjoy your new saw!   [big grin]   Hey, that kid-on-the-way won't need new shoes any time soon anyway...   [tongue] [big grin] [big grin]

Corwin,

Just some rail clamps, for now I am going to try and use my shopvac for dust collection. We have been pretty busy as of late, so lots of Jet Ops and it only gets busier as we start to move into spring. I went back and forth between the 75 and 55 but decided that I am going to be doing more sheet good projects than hardwoods so I settled on the 55.

Japan Woodworker is my local supplier of choice and I have been doing business with Fred for over 35 years.  You can't go wrong with Japan Woodworker.

Be careful. This is another company that charges your credit card as soon as you place your order for items they do not have in stock.

I've made 2 seperate orders from JWW that had backordered items and they only charged me for what was in stock. The first time was over a month till the BO items came in and they emailed then called me to confirm that they could charge my card. The second time I never heard back... Still waiting on that Sys5 ::)

I place an online order in January with Japan Woodworker for a systainer package for my multimaster. Someone called me a few minutes later to say part of the items were on back order. I ask them  not ship the order until the order was complete because I needed all of the items to make the package. About a week later I received the items they had in stock. I was billed for the complete order.
I emailed them last week & asked them to refund my money on the back ordered items, I also called & left a message, I have not received a return call or a reply to the email.

Chris, Sorry to hear about your issues with Japan Woodworker.  My experience has been shopping at their store where they have great people.  I will mention to them the numerous issues mentioned on the FOG.

I also live in WA and have purchased a lot from McFeely's and have had great service and fast free shipping.  I guess I did pay a buck.
