Nick --- I don't want to give the false image that the RAS is a "finesse machine" ------ one little slip and --- damn !!!. It's not very forgiving, much less so than the RO 125/150 in turbo mode.
I'll keep that in mind. The things I would use it for probably are pretty bad to begin woth so it may be okay. The RO 150 works well but there are a few times I could have used a little faster removal.
I would use it to remove a lot of material from the middle of the valleys leaving only the outside 1/2 inch or so. This can be touched up with my PC mini belt sander.
Any amount of dust collection is better than what I have going on with that grinder and 16 grit pads. I am really not looking for finesse I am looking to cut out a lot of material.
