There is an MFK700 router "set" on the recon list. What is included in the set? I didn't find that answer on the website.

1.5° Horizontal base and feeler bearing set
Collets
Dust extraction hood
Plug-it power cord
Standard threaded base for U.S. guide bushing
Vertical base
Systainer

Then I'm confused. The list price on the Recon Tool list say $550 while on the website the new tool with the same list of equipment is listed at $525. Thus, the discount listed on the Recon list is not 20% off the new tool as shown.

I suspect this was in error since it's a Classic Systainer version. I've emailed my colleague to ask that he fix it in our system. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

So, will the price remain $440 or will it actually be $420 which is 20% off $525?

It's been corrected, just refresh.

Shane,

Actually, it is on the list again. Just want to make sure about accessories. I don't see a guide stop accessory similar to the OF1400 and 1010. Is there one for the 700? I assume not, but wanted to make sure. I just see an edge guide.

So this is a whole new group of recon tools available? I thought they all sold out a few weeks ago. When did (if this is new) batch go online?

I was looking at the 30% off group and noticed that the LS 130 in a T-lock Sys costs $72 more than the same tool in a classic Sys. Is that right?

Thank you Shane!

Hello Carvex and accessory systainer, woo hoo.

And thank you Bob Marino and everyone at Festool.

Oh and may I have a MFK700 set to go as well?

Thanks again.

No, there's not.

Some of these were on the original list, some were added to the list today.

Yes, the prices should be correct.

What is the warrantee on the 30% batteries with cordless tools.  Looking at the t18

This is how I feel!

Funny - that's EXACTLY what happened to me! I didn't even LOOK at the ReCon page and a tool showed up.

At least, I swore to my wife that's what happened!

[wink] [big grin] [thumbs up]

Yep getting a little rough here too. Got taken for a CT 26 yesterday. I think the wife is going to drown me in Kool-aid.

Hi Shane
i am thinking about the ct 36 AC,
and am wondering about warranty left on unit (1 year is assummed)
and also like a clarification on
"30% Discount Level - Moderately used tools. Original packaging damaged (tears, spots and dust)."

so i always assumed "packaging damaged" is irrelevant, since the shipper should replace broken
box and repack before sending to me, that was before amazon warehouse amazed me by
taping a broken box, but USING the MINIMUM tape needed just surrounding the
tear or dent, and HOPING the tape does stick and not caring much about what happens,
shipping said item to me and hoping i dont return it to them.

so i ask why does festool mention packaging damaged?
is that broken box being sent to me in a broken stated?
does broken packaging mean the ct 36 ac unit itself is damaged?
why mention this if you are replacing shipping box unless festool wont do that?
i understand about the wear, but at least it can have a new start.

and i expect a used, heavily used ct 36 ac returned to festool was a "rejected"
unit with a defect?

thanks

I would suggest that you look at some of the posts from members who have received tools already, specifically those at 30% off. Packaging refers more to Systainers than shipping boxes. The tool(s) are adequately packaged for shipping.

The CT 36 AC may have cosmetic blemishes but nothing that would prevent it from operating fully.

One year warranty on all reconditioned tools.

I will let Shane answer for himself, but based on past experiences, the Original packaging damage is more on the inside os the Systainer.  I have had holes in the insert or scuffs on the boxes, etc.  They aren't going to send your recon package in shambles.  It might also have to do with any boxed accessories.

As far as getting defective unit, that is not the scope of selling recon units.  Some people fully take advantage of the 30 days to use a tool and return it.  Several will use it as they would if it was a $10 POS from Lowes because they know they are sending it back in a few weeks.

Hope this helps, you will be pleasantly surprised with what you get for the 10-30% off.  I have only ever done this on 10 and 20% items but they are nice and I am not buying them to keep clean in a systanier anyways.

EDIT: We both answered at the same time!  [wink]
