As an aside, for those of us that ordered through a local dealer and did not receive any tracking info (the salesman didn't ask for my email address), is there a good way to find out if our shipments are on this "slow list?"

Welcome to the forum. Since the transaction is between us and the dealer, we send ship notifications to the dealer with tracking info. Please contact your dealer to get updates.

thanks for the welcome.  This is my first festool product and while I don't technically have it yet, I guess since I've paid for it I qualify as a "festool owner" :D

I will contact Woodcraft and see what they can do for me.  thanks again!

What do you mean "don't register"?

With UPS, if you track a package before it gets to their depot, it will not show anything. So, you need to wait until 6-7pm before it's going to show tracking info.

just FYI, I know most aren't going to care about *my* shipment... but I called my dealer and they had the tracking numbers.  My new TS 55 will arrive tomorrow :D.  That should be good news for anyone else who purchased early!

My sander just arrived in tip top shape.  [big grin]

Thank you Bob Marino for burning the midnight oil.

Thank you Festool for offering this incredible opportunity to loyal customers.

[thanks] [thanks] [thanks]

Got my 850 planer...  The base is a bit more chewed up than expected, but I can't complain for the price.

Will test it out tonight and see how well she performs. Hope all goes well!!

New items are being posted (just fyi)...though could just be more items from canceled orders (as Shane mentioned before)

Glad you got yours. I took your advice and contacted my dealer. They gave me the tracking number however it appears it hasn't shipped yet even though I ordered it last Tuesday. So much for an early purchase!

Minis and midis are on right now. Realistically what are most waiting for to pop up. I personally am waiting for probably what everyone else is, DOMINO!!!!  Please service, throw like 50 dominos up on the list.  Wishful thinking!!!!

I would like a CT48 and OF1010. I was already lucky enough to get a TS55R, MFK700 and HL850 [cool]

I don't think anyone that uses a domino ever thinks about returning it.  You might end up having to rip it from their hands if you want to take all their tools.

I saw a CSX set go up, I thought about it, literally 2 minutes later it was gone.  [crying]

If in the middle of the night when the stores are closed I decide to 'email' in an order, does that mean PM through here or an email found on the website? Bob Marino for example has one on his website.
What do I send as far as info in the email so enough so it might get processed?  Billing/Shipping address and credit card info with expiry etc.?
Don't the dealers have to get on the phone with Festool to secure a tool?  Is that even possible at midnight?

One more question, the black number (quantities) and the red, does anyone know how many there has to be before it's black?  Like 1-49= red, 50+ is black.  Just want to know my odds.

PS looking for a RO90, ETS-150/5, Festool Carvex PS 420 EBQ, possibly even a MFK700.

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever send credit card information in an insecure manner like PM or email. Only through a secure website or by phone.

Shane

So I guess to tell them to call you back when they receive the email before securing one?  Just wondering how I see items posted at midnight and I wake up and they're gone, how are they buying them?

Most of the dealers already have their customer information on file. I just use one dealer so he has all of my information to include billing already on file. This might not help if your not a regular customer but if you see an item and happen to have the phone number of an authorized dealer he will collect the information then. What you are seeing is customers sniping the stuff quickly before you are getting a chance. Kinda like me for the Midi, the CXS and the Kapex. Although I finally got the Midi and the CXS as well as the C15 (not delivered yet). You have to be fast, and LUCKY. Plus it helps having a dealer you are established with.

Sorry if this has already been asked (long thread) but are the Minis and Midis available have the T-LOC and the larger motor or could you possibly get an older version?

Thanks,
Gerald

Do you know if the Minis and Midis are the t-loc variety?

I don't know for sure, but I would guess some of each, T-LOC and the previous model.

Make sure to check the Recon item for sale Item number against the website.
Midi's today were popping up in both current and older Item number.
It appears the Mini currently on offer (Item 583360) would be the older one you're looking for. The current Mini Item number shows on the website as 584156.
Hope this helps and I'm by no means an expert but that's my understanding of the way the numbers work.

Best Regards,
Dave

Another FYI - I ordered around 10am on Tuesday and received my three new tools today in SC.

Add the C15 Set, ETS 125 and DX 93 to my growing stable.

I just wish I had caught an ETS 150/3.
