I am wanting to buy a Red systainer with black handles and latches.

Does anybody have any idea where to get one?

I saw the customizer on the tanos site, but it only takes you to dealers in germany.

Try PMing member wow.  He recently contacted them about custom colors, etc.  I believe there was a minimum order size, but it could be done, and there is a waiting period of 6-8 weeks to get them from overseas.  Again, the details escape me, but he's in the middle of the process and he probably knows.

I am certainly not an expert, but I've learned quite a bit!

You can buy custom colors from Tanos in their standard versions, i.e. T-LOC Sys 1-5. The problem is getting them shipped to the US for a reasonable price. Short version, it would be cheaper to buy one from a EU dealer and have it shipped or - better yet - have a friend carry it over on a trip to the US.

Sorry I don't have a better answer, but at the moment that's all I can offer. I, too, wish there was a way to order colored systainers in small quantities even if you had to wait for them to ship with another order. I just don't see that happening though.

I don't think there are any red ones in Classic or T-Loc in the US anymore.

I have ordered from here.......  https://www.kofferfunshop.de/en/index.html  The shipping isn't too bad if you order several.

Pretty sure Woodcraft has the black handles and latches for T-Locs.

Making a Milwaukee Systainer?

As Seth said, https://www.kofferfunshop.de/en/index.html is a great resource. They charge about $96 for shipping BUT you can ship up to eight Sys 2's for the same price. If you can come up with an order for eight, it works out to only $12 per unit which I think is quite reasonable.

I bet if you posted here on the FOG you could come up with some 'friends' who want a colored systainer too!

Just for fun ( and since I was bored ) I decided to see how you could pack a 'bunch' of Systainers to get a good shipping rate. Turns out for $96 you could ship:

10 - Sys 1's, or (edited cause I can't type)
8 - Sys 2's, or
7 - Sys 3's, or
6 - Sys 4's, or
5 - Sys 5's, or

Basically, any combination of Systainers that weighs less than 20 pounds will ship for the $96 dollar price. If I hadn't just ordered my second batch of 'green goodness' I might be in for a few myself. Maybe I'll do an order this fall.

If anyone wants to go in on an order with these guys, I'm good for 3-4 systainers. Delivered to DFW.

The exchange rate is rather favorable at the moment, only slightly more expensive than purchasing domestic (after freight), but you can have fun colors!

I'm interested in putting all of my woodpeckers jigs and things into red systainers, and all of my bosch stuff into black systainers with blue latches.

Isn't Mafell going to T-Locs soon? They'd probably be white with red handles but close enough?

Isn't it ridiculous that there's a market for such a simple product and not one domestic retailer has jumped at it ??
I talked to the manager once at my local woodcraft store about things like colored Systainers , tlocs & handles. He looked at me like I was a kook and quite possibly the only person in the country who would ever want such a thing...
Then kept directing me toward the anthracite collection he had and kept re explaining how they were all made by the same company
"See there the same as the festools" he said

There's a container store , why the systainer store ....lol.

Red systainers will be available through Woodcraft soon.  They will be a special order through the store, but will be available online and by mail order.
