Jeepers creepers.
Delinquent doesn't even cover it does it?
For awhile there I was in a love affair with three things.
My blankie, my couch, and the remote control.
All of which have the power of heroin except for the refrigerator part.
Can't forget the ice cream. And the yodels. Sheesh no yodels?
Lets bake a cake.
Law and Order is running a marathon.
How does this happen?
You work very hard to be exceptional at what you do,
Then discover there is no market for it.
At least in this economy.
As I said before, the rich are scared.
The poor can't get a loan.
Creates a thing I call subsistence carpentry.
The state of affairs we experienced working through school.
You know the school where you secured that fall back degree.
That is no longer relevant.
But this is not the song of another failed carpentry business.
No.
This is merely a failure of Swenson and Swenson to sell art.
Sheet rock at 30 cents a square foot, and its 50/50
the check is written from Spaulding National Bank.
That is Ramen noodles for lunch and dinner.
So?
Why have I been absent?
I simply have nothing to offer on the Festool front,
As I can't use my domino doing replacement windows.

I Miss you all, Old geezer Bob is alive and kickin, okay,
waiting for the phone to ring.

For those who are new........
This is what we do.

It's crazy.Craftmanship like that and no demand for it??????What's happening?

Per,

Glad to see you back, even if for just for a post or two.  Sorry to hear about the effect this lousy economy has had on you, as it has had on others.  The important thing is that you and Dad are healthy and as crazy (in a good way) as you have always been.

Don't sell yourself short as far as your contributions to this group.  Those of us "older" members know how valuable you are to this site.  As they say, don't be stranger.

Hang in there...

Wow, stunning work.  That is some real craft manship there.  I like the subtle logo on the skirting block.  Do you outsource them to a cnc shop ?

Good to hear you and Dad are well. With your talents someone is bound to find you. Hopefully sooner than later.

  Ron,

Yeah man, I now have 4.
