First job for new CT26:  Clean out dark basement with lots of corners.

More than a few areas were dark and walking to

I thought a small drop light that would attach to the cleaning tubes or curved extension (I used trade person/Installer set) would be nice.  It could illuminate dark places and/or allow the tool-end start function to be used for general clean up.  Perhaps it could have an outlet to power a tool?

Just a thought.  A great vacuum! Am thinking of getting a mini or midi for my mom now!

I couldn't find my headlamp!

But really, something to allow the remote start to be able to be used for general clean up would be nice.  I had almost 25 feet of hose and setting the nozzle down while the vac is running sucked! (pun)  A light might be nice if it was small enough.  Remote start is one of the chief features that make these dust extractors so nice.  Something to allow it to be used for one of the most common tasks would be nice to have.

Try this for remote control - on your vac or other tool.

I have one on my CT-26 for general cleanup around the shop.  Works great.  Outlet unit plugs into the wall.  Remote control button velcro attaches to the hose at the end.

You will have to remove the outlet control if you are doing HEAVY cutting with a router or saw due to amp rating.  I blew one out when ripping 5/4 oak and had to order a replacement relay from Digi.com to get it back working.

Other than that, it works really well.

Excellent for general cleanup, use with sanders, the 1010, etc.
