Removing Kapex blade guard for cleaning

Lots of sap build up in my blade guard, can't pick or blow it out and my right laser is invisible now. Any tips on removing the guard for cleaning?  Looked through the supplemental manual and searched online but can't find anything.

Thanks.  I did see this post in my search but didn't see any info on how to take the guard off or some exploded art to make it easier to disassemble.  I'll figure it out.  Appreciate it.
