I was using the "thin extended triangular sanding pad" today in a situation where I just needed to sand on the end of the triangular corner. It didn't take long for the sandpaper to wear through and the stick fix mounting pad itself has been slightly damaged. With the regular triangular pad, you can replace this mounting part with one that snaps into place.
ON the extended pad, I can see that it is a separate piece which screws onto the mounting plate, but I don't see it listed on the festoolusa site as a replacement part. I DO see part number: 496803, but I think that includes the entire assembly including that part which attaches to the RO 90.
So, is it possible to replace just the sandpaper mounting part of the sanding pad?
