Hi ya'll
For the last couple mounts I began to have a significant amount of dust spill on the floor when I decoupled the 27mm antistatic hose from my CT26. This dust spills everywhere. When I vacuumed it up it would build up in the connector again. I have to be very careful removing the hose, taking it to a trash can, and shaking out the dust. Because it sticks a bit, I almost always have a mess in front of the CT26 when I pull the hose.
For the life of me, it didn't do before or this with any of the DC's, static and non-static hoses, I've owned. This is a recent development. I tested my grey, non-static 36mm hose and it did not happen. It happens with a brand new bag.
I called support and they said they hadn't heard of the problem and to cup my hand over the hose while running the DC before turning it off and disconnecting the hose. I told them this did nothing. Their response was "you are always going to have some dust and to carefully remove the hose and take it to the trash can." I'm not talking about a little dust. It's a good sized pile whether using my TS55REQ, Domino, or vacuuming the floor. I suspect something with the anti-static.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
All-the-best,
Luke
