Reusable bag for midi

First, I think it's important to point out this is not a Festool product.  I have no idea how well this filter bag will work but I don't like that is made of cotton.  I can't imagine that alone is a suitable pre-filter.  I say you buy one and be the guinea pig. [big grin]

It is definitely not a Festool product as I cannot find it in my European Festool catalog.

What they have done is put the Festool product numbers 456772 and 494105 in the search title to draw attention to it hoping people looking for a long term solution to bags filling up will buy this home made bag

I do have a customer who bought the CT 22 Long Life bag and modified it for the Mini. Not sure how it worked out but if one customer could figure it out I have total confidence they could do it.

I agree with Brice and think a cotton bag is not a good idea. Certainly wouldn't pass UL/CSA IMO ;)

as i have said before i use the numatic george hepa filter bags in mine and they work great

Someone posted about these a few weeks ago, when the first one appeared on eBay.

It's not made by Festool. I assumed at the time that it was simply one he'd made himself, as a one-off, but since then there have been quite a few appear, all from the same seller.

Turns out he's making them purely for sale. There are currently 6 on eBay UK & eBay Germany, and another 7 that have sold over the past few weeks. They go for anywhere between £50 and £80 each.

The first ones were just sold as being for the Mini, but now it appears he's saying they fit the midi as well (they will fit, they just won't fill the bucket).

Yeah obviously its not Festool but I just wondered if anyone had given them a try yet. I must admit it does look a bit Mickey mouse  ;D [laughing]
