Hey all, I know there are a number of previous threads over the years regarding hose length/size for the kapex, but I’m hoping someone has a lead on sourcing what I need. Using a CT-26 DC and hoping to find a short (1.5-1.7 M) 36mm hose. Previous vendors that seemed to sell short setups do not seem to be in business anymore. Any suggestions regarding this?? TIA

Hi
Im looking for a short 36 mm hose for my kapex/extractor too. Any venders have them for sale?
Thanks
Brian

You can buy that hose per meter and then seperate ends?

Unfortunately, bulk Festool hose is just another NAINA item in the US or Canada.  [mad]

Absolutely the best solution is the one I have in place (slightly superfluous tap on my own back here…):

Use the 50 mm diameter hose. In the shortest length feasible between Kapex and Extractor (measure with some hose you have lying around). It is sold under the product designation D50 MW-AS in any length, so Special Order.
Add two connectors D50 DAG-AA. Install these onto both ends of the hose.
Use the Adapter D50/D36 to connect to Kapex.

Not exactly cheap, but the most suction for your bucks, so to speak.

(For the imperial stalwarts: 50 millimetres is just a hair short of two inches.)

Correction: Noticed in post before this that hose to measure is NAINA in the USA. But since the 50 mm is kind of an industry wide size, it should not be hard to find some in the CUSA.

Might be cheaper to just buy the 50mm 2.5m hose (and cut that shorter).
Some foam tape might also be cheaper and a lot more compact than the 50/36 adapter.
