I have never had a zero turn so I will spend some time riding around without the blades spinning to get the feel of how it handles. I do have some hills to mow. However, if I loose control going down hill I'll end up in the pond instead of on a car. I don't plan on buying the carry deck, although I have seen many birds I would like to photograph. [laughing]
The three closest dealers to me sell Hustler, Gravely, Snapper and Toro. The Toro dealer was highly recommended by many people I know, and they got me a discount on last years model, so I bought from them. A good friend of mine and my uncle both have the Toro mowers and are very happy with them. When I started researching the Toro mowers, I found they use the same Kawasaki engines and drives as some of what I would consider to be the more commercial mowers. Lifetime frame warranty and weighs about the same as the others. I hope I made a good choice. Time will tell.
