The MFT/3 is so much better without the portable leg kit and mounted on a firm base - the very same applies to the CMS stand. This stand is rigid and it completely eliminates all wobble. It is also very multi functional as it's a router table and a table saw as well as a baby Kapex. It's actually a Festool SYM-70 on a base with the v-grooves calibrated to the MM scales of the Kapex wings. Takes minutes to fully set up. This saw has no way of attaching extension wings so I am chuffed to bits with this mod. 'cos I love this saw.

No photos of an enormous MFT here, so there's some photos of a compact modular system that can be a very long saw table or a colossal router table, as well as my favourite - the baby Kapex. I wish I'd done this months ago. This CMS does not move...

In that case, why don't you just get a piece of MDF and drill your own holes and save yourself $650? :)

Mr Mort, do you mean something like this 8' x 4' with 275 dog holes?

Clever setup.  What's up with that vertically ribbed hose you have attached to the Kapex?
