I’m doing a really complex (for my skill level) project. I just added a second set of Flip Stops to my SawStop Woodpeckers Rip Flip.

I label the stops with blue tape indicating what part they are for. This project requires extreme accuracy and the stops allow me to dial in the exact position and return to it.

This is a tool I wasn’t sure I would ever use. Now, I use it all the time.

Good to know the accessory is so highly valued after using it. Any images to share, Birdie?

I found the same in the JessEM stock guides for the SawStop that I now use it in many rip cuts (and crosscuts as well (as a stop block) with the miter gauge).

I've found them to be pretty useful as well. Especially for the thing you mentioned but also for simple things like sneaking up on a cut.

Rather than tap-tap-tapping the fence to move it, I'll just move one of the stops into position so it's against the fence handle/nut, then slowly turn the adjustment knob to micro-adjust. It takes a little bit longer, but it soothes my OCD tendencies :D

I haven't yet used them for dados but I have an article from the WP catalog taped to my wall next to the saw for when I do.

I have the stock guides on my saw and my router table. The “tires” on the router guide got floppy. I ordered replacement tires and will replace them in the morning.

I made a suggestion that they add a way to label the stop last year.

An area where you could note the setting in pencil then erase it.

Didn't seem to catch anyones interest there.
