I bought this in November along with a CT Midi. I love them both, but yesterday I was using the sander and when I went to remove the vacuum hose, it snapped. I've included a photo below. I've used this sander for an hour or two at most, so I'm very surprised this happened. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how I should proceed? I bought it from an authorized distributor through Amazon. Thanks very much.

On the RO 150 the vacuum hose port is removable, did the extractor tube just simply detach itself from the RO 150 or is the port actually broken?

If broken, it is covered under warranty for 3 years. Start by filling out a repair order on the Festool website. You'll have to provide Festool Service a T/N number & a S/N number along with a proof of purchase.

Unfortunately, the Service part of the website is down until after 6:00 PM today.

Thanks very much for the reply. I tried posting a photo earlier but it doesn't appear to be showing. I'm trying again below. it looks broken to me, but I'm not certain.

Ya, it also looks broken to me. If you remove the extractor tube from the sander you will be able to verify the condition.

At any rate, contact Festool Service and they'll hand-hold you through the warranty process.
