All I can say is Wow!
I'm refinishing the stairs in my house. I tried about a year ago and didn't even get through one step and gave up. Spent 2 hours and went through 3 full sheets using a PC random orbital, that I always liked.
It had a hard time cutting through the poly I put on the treads, and even with the jet turbine crapsman shop vac there was lots of dust.
Fast forward to yesterday, in 3 hours I had 5 treads sanded to 220 and stained! No dust, and a much quieter experience. Oh yea I only went through one 60 grit on the dx head and one 80 on the round one. The aggressive setting is amazing.
After the initial sanding with the 80 grit it only took one pass with each successive grit to get to the next level. If I had the 40 grit I probably would have gotten through all 12 treads in the same time.
I'll post photos later.
I'm definitely sold and looking to get the 150 RO and the ETS for some future projects.
