RO150 Question

Hello!  I have a question about the RO150, which I purchased leads than a month ago, and am thinking I might have a defective unit...

What kind of sound does it make?  I have a Milwaukee ROS, and it just makes a loud humming sound.  My RO150 sounds like metal grinding.  It appears to work fine, but sounds like there is some grinding.  Is this normal???

It's a little over an hour to the store I got it from, so I don't want to drive up there for nothing.

It's normal. If you never heard a Festool RO before than it will sound really weird. Unless the sander is not working just get used to it.   If it actually breaks on you then send it back. I bet you are just in the break in period.

MY RO150 is WAY louder than the ETS150. The RO150 sounds more like a garbage disposal!  I would bet yours is normal.
