RO90 Accessories

Any word on when accessories, pads, sanding discs, etc. will be available for ordering?  I have an RO90 on preorder and it won't be a pretty sight if sandpaper is not available. [scared]

Guys, you'll just need to check with your preferred dealer. From the perspective of Festool, we'll be ready to ship the RO 90 and all associated products in time for a March 1 launch.

Oh yeah, I've got a question on the RO90 pad protector set, do you get a duplicate of the one that is included with the sander?  In other words will you end up with two of the same size?

Good question, Brice. The answer is no. The protector that's included with the sander is designed to get right up to the edge of pad, just like the one with the RO 125 or RO 150 for those of you who have one.

The protector set includes a small, medium, and large (S, M and L is how they are marked) offset. The idea is to offer various offset distances for different size beads of caulk for instance.

Thanks Shane, that does answer the question.  If you've got some time on Monday to take some pictures of the protectors on the unit that would be great.
