I'm going to see if they can find the parts, if not I'll have to decide if I should buy the missing parts or just return the router. [mad] I noticed the wrench was missing and wasn't too worried about it, but I wasn't sure what else the router came with until I got home and looked at the catalog and Festool website. I think I would spend the same amount of money if I just returned it and bought a new one. That's what I get for making an impulse purchase. I only went there looking for an empty systainer.

When I first started buying Festool, about 18 months ago, I was told that Festool NEVER goes on sale. The only way to get a deal was to buy the package deals.
Well fast forward and now there have been several sales. The referb sale, the current classic Systainer and Demo sales. Discontinued model sales for some of the cordless drills and the Trion etc.... Etc... Etc...
So much for NEVER [unsure]
I had heard the same thing. What I'm finding is that The new stuff is not on sale but demo, closeout etc can. I'm also told that this last year has had more promotions than ever before.
You do have to keep your eyes and ears open.
Cheers,
Steve

How come Rockler is the only place I've seen that is discounting their demo tools? I go to Woodcraft and Woodwerks as well as some websites (including yours) and haven't seen any other company discounting the tools even though they have demo tools with old style systainers. I used to like the introductory discounts on the new tools. Made me want to have the newest tool even more than I do now. [wink]

Pete,
The local Rockler still has the MFK 700 at 20% off and there is no sales tax here in the State of Oregon.

this is shipped and sold by Amazon.
Amazon has a great return policy. If there are any problems with your tool (within 30days) they will ship a new item and return the old one within 30days (paid by amazon). Not to mention the amazon prime membership which gives you 2 day free shipping and 3.99 1 day shipping. I've saved a lot of money in gas/tax using this service.
