I based this loosely on a post that "rance" made over on  LumberJocks.com, and his work was immensely helpful to me. I changed all the dimensions and angles, but I couldn't have made this without that help.

All the joints are lapped with a dado. I tried to use some 8" wheels but had some trouble with swing allowance, so I settled on these 6" dual wheels. All of them swivel, and the cart (probably weighing 2,000 lbs? not sure) is surprisingly easy to get moving and to control on the RaceDeck in my shop.

It's built entirely of 2x4" and 2x6". And a little paneling on two passageways. I can push plastic containers with offcuts through one side out the other. I haven't yet secured the angled plywood with a cable and eyehook, but that'll come next. Really happy with the way it turned out and I feel so much more organized now. I know exactly where each species of wood is and I can get it easily.
