Rolling MFT table with systainer-port and a bit more.

Nice ideas!  Was wondering how the casters are working for you while you're working--Does the table remain steady?  Also do you ever want to reach under the MFT and find that the legs get in the way?  Thanks for sharing your work!

The casters are working for me so far.  Of course depending on the task such as hand planning sometimes they slide a bit on the smooth concrete floor.  I think someone here secured the table on the wall when hand planning.  Outside in the driveway, I have no problem since the concrete is a bit more rough.  I got those caster from Rockler and Woodcraft when they where on sale.  Note that they have a slight height variation.  So, I recommend to stick with one supplier just to be safe.

I haven't had the need to reach under the MFT.  I can still have some access on the sides.

Edit:  By the way.......Welcome to FOG! [welcome]

I'm trying to get around to starting my MFT and KAPEX workstations and have been reviewing my old notes. I've found quite a few images I'd saved at the time, so where I can, I'm trying to add them back in to the threads where the photos were previously lost.

Hope someone finds this useful and that it's OK with the original authors.

very cool! i removed the mft legs on my new cart as well.  it frees up handy space for tools and offcuts :)

Nicely done carts, - I found by removing the mft's legs it helped with fitting the clamps in and out as I found with them on it was a hassle, and it's more useful for me the table remaining on the wheeled base than having it being able to be removed.
