If you have to ask you should not attempt it,get a price off a tool repair shop or festool. I have striped down and repaired many power tools over the years

some are much harder than others,some require special tooling.

If you think you can do it do it!   Make sure you have a camera on you incase you come to a part you think you might forget how it went together! Take a picture so you can look back and see how it fitted!    Thats what I do when I start taking things apart I dont know much about  [big grin]
