Rotex 150e

I have an older Rotex 150e sander. I recently replaced the original pad. According to the Festool website the original pads are no longer available. The new model does not vacuum the dust as well as the older model. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Welcome to the FOG.  I don't have the tool your referring to but you may want to call Festool and see if they have the old pads still.  There's a good chance they still do.

I haven't heard this complaint before, but nonetheless some dealers may still have some of the 9 hole pads. I can check and see if I have any left.

i too have experienced this.they  claim it is more efficient but i don`t see it. i also had problems with the cord .this is the third one i replaced.it seems to be breaking under the boot with no outside break in the rubber.has anyone had this problem?

Nope. I haven't seen any improvement, but also no detoriation.
