Hi all,
I need to paint my whole house from top to bottom and have bought a rotex 90 for sanding all the trim and woodwork. The trim is was last painted about 7 years ago in farrow and ball oil paint and I need to give it a light sanding mostly to create smooth out any rough bits, filler etc and give a good key for the new coating - I don't need to take it back to bare wood. Does anyone have a view as to the best abrasive for smoothing out and scuffing up old oil paint. Was thinking garnat 120 or 180? Grateful for any thoughts.
