Seemed like a good idea and sander at the time, but since getting the ets 150/5 and the ras-115 I don't use it anymore.
The ets is a much better finish sander than the rotex on finish mode and the ras is better at removing stock fast than the rotex on aggressive mode.
Yeah the rotex can do both finish and aggressive sanding, but so what if neither is done particularly well in comparison to the single purpose sanders mentioned above. I'd rather take the extra step of getting out the right sander to do a job well than to (supposedly?) save a little time and use the rotex for both tasks.
