I'm thinking someone with a 3D printer could make an adapter for the RO 150 E.  My RO is about 12 years old now and running fine but I sure do hate that damn oval port on the rear for dust collection.  Even with a new rubber hose end it still comes off too frequently.  Something that would slide on and fasten on the ribs of the port and convert it to fit a standard 27mm hose end.  I wouldn't care if it permanently attached, just something to keep the hose from working it's way off.  The hose. Oils fit inside or outside the adapter.

Any ideas?  I hope someone tells me their has been an adapter made for this issue years ago.

Best regards

The current RO 150 dust port is round right?  ( I don't have mine in front of me right now) Can you order and fit the latest dust collection tube from Festool Ekat for your older Model?

I'm not doubting you Magellan,  but I have an RO150 E which is a bit older than yours and I find the 27mm hose a really snug fit on the oval dust port. I cannot remember it ever falling off whilst sanding....! The OF1010 has the same size & shape dust port as the RO150 E and my hose stays on that as well. Admittedly, the OF1010 doesn't get moved around as vigorously  as the the sander. To be honest, I have issues with the 36mm hose pulling off my TS55 but not my sander or router.

Maybe someone with a 3d printer wants to try making it for you.

If not, I'd find a plastic tube with the right size to fit the dust collector, and then heat one end and compress it to fit the oval dust port of your RO150E. Attach it with two screws and you're done.

Totally incompatible. The RO150 E has the same body and dust port as the DX93 and RAS115.

I really dislike that oval dust port too, simply crap.
