I’ve searched the forum looking for reference to this, and came up short on detail…

I have an “extra” OF2000 that I’d really like to stick under a router table.  Since it’s a plunge router, it really isn’t the best fit for the application but I’ve become aware of the Router Raizer product that essentially converts the plunge mechanism to a router lift.  The hangup is I don’t know which model RR specifically guys have used on the OF2000.

The manufacturer of the RR seems to be out of business (at a minimum, they don’t answer their phone or return emails) so asking application questions of them is a no-go.  Some retailers still list the products as being in their inventory, so I assume it’s leftover stock.

Anyway, does anyone know which model Router Raizer (if any) might best be suited to the OF2000?

Thanks,
Steve

I did this, havent finished installing it. im putting it in the dead side, to keep the stock lift on the otherside, look at the how the bosch is done, bob answers the phone everytime I've called normal business hours

100 model, bob I and I discussed the of _2000 application, which he says nobody wants to put that expensive of a router in a table so we pioneered threw it,me being the guinea pig.haven't quite finished yet,but I don't see any reason for it not to work. part of the reason im not done is I can't decide whether or not to drill threw the plate, for adjustment to be above. with my other hand still underneath, how useful would that be, plus it is a 3/16 hex,how durable it will be is my question.

Wondering how much hacking is required??

I bought a router raizer for my dewalt plunge.  Took a lot of cutting and modifications but worked fine in the end.

I honestly am not sure I would want to do this to a Festool router.

drilled one  hole in the dead side, the stock adjuster is still there( stock & r.r. operate the same, shaft against a nut ).very simple

Thanks for the input!  I'll have to get one and tinker with it.

The OF2000 is the nicest router I've ever owned (so far).  I liked the first one I had so much I bought another and just ordered one from the recon sale to keep at work.  I thought handling such a powerful beast would be difficult, but I found it easy to control and reasonably intuitive to use.  It's remarkably smooth.  I've heard the OF 2200 is even better, so I have no intention of ever touching one of those which might ruin the love I have for the 2000.

Thanks again,
Steve
